If you can find one! not easy and they come up very rarely. On top of this, the rebuild of the bike has to be done by a qualified registered professional ( mecanique agréé) and has to be inspected at various stages to make sure all the pieces being used are EU conformant, homologated and coded, like the light fittings, exhaust system, speedometer and instruments etc. It's not a case of just transferring everything from one frame to the other. My Ducati friend was lucky in that all the parts on his bike were EU conformant, it was just the frame which was wrong.
In 98% of cases I've been involved with, ( mainly U.K. imports and specials, including US imports legally re registered in the U.K. but not allowed here because of the frame number), the end result has been to sell the bike where it can be sold, and replace it with a European or (better still) French registered bike.
Your nerves will stay in tact, and it will be much much cheaper and less frustrating.
Sorry to be a ''downer'', but forewarned is forearmed.
