Greece - Croatia (Dubrovnik)
Hello,
We are planning to go to Croatia (from Greece). The route that we would like to follow is
Skopje (FYROM) - Pristina( YUGOSLAVIA) - Podgorica - Kotor - Hercegnovi - Dubrovnik.
Has anyone done this route, will there be any problem passing to Croatia from Hercegnovi ? Is it safe (I will be with my wife). Any feedback would be usefull. I do have green card from my insurance company, what else is needed?
Thanks in advance.
Vlassis

Did the exact same route one week ago:
through Macedonia via Skopje: very fast and no problem, check your green card if you have insurance.
to Pristina: a lot of army on the road, but no problem, you have to buy insurance (20 euro)
From Mitrovica to Podgorica: take the route via Pec (very good road) or you will be sent back at the Serbian border in Ribarice (no correct entry stamp). Just before Pec go right at roundabout directions Rozaje (no problems there) and continue on the road to podgorica. The last part of this road is really stunning.

Thank you Titbird for the information. They were extremely accurate. Very fast, very safe, no problem at all.

Exact route and the nicest places
Hello Vlassis,
Welcome back.
I want to make a ride to Croatia. I think it is going to be next spring.
Can you tell the exact route of yours and mark the nicest places to visit and stay.
We want to pass to Slovenia after Croatia.
Thanks,

Greece also
Hi Vlassis again,
Want to stop over at Kastoria staying overnight there and then will pass to Albania. When we come back from Italy by ferry to Igoumanitsa or Patra we want to give a visit to Meteora. May be we spend a night around there.
Any recommends?
Thanks.
