I'm planning THE trip from Alaska-Argentina in june 2018. It would be really helpfull if there were any Belgians who did this route, or parts of it? If you know someone or you're from another country and you think you can give me some hints, always welcome!

Not aware of any that route that has any idiosyncrasies particular to nationality, especially EU citizens who get a free run as far as visas are concerned.

You will have the usual time constraints imposed by the americans for travel in North America and whether it is 90 days or 180 days depends on whether you come visa free or get a B1B2 visa. If you are flying or shipping a vehicle into the USA you will need to check up whether EPA certification applies to your rig and there are security certificates that might also have to be supplied by your shipping agent.

Are there any particular concerns that you have, because you have asked a very unbounded question and you will get better info by asking about specific topics.

I guess you know that Venezuela is pretty much off everyone's plans, and there are a couple of twists in Central America where there is a time limit for four countries instead of separate ones for each country, and another wherte if you cancel your TIP heading south, you can't get back north for 90 days. Ecuador allows 90 days in total per year, Brazil generally wont allow in-country extensions to free visas, and most others allow border runs to restart the clock.
