Looking for secure parking in Tarifa or Algeciras
Hi all,
Me and a friend of mine will be travelling way and back from Oporto (Portugal) to Morocco (round trip in the south).
The part of the trip from Oporto to Tarifa or Algeciras, to pick the ferry, has no interest at all, as we will be doing it 100% in highway, and we did many times already.
So we are planning this time to put the bikes in our trailer and do this journey by car. The thing is, we need to have a secure place to leave the car and the trailer in one of those two cities, as we will be 10 days out in Morocco.
Does anyone know where we can get some help? Is there anyone from there that could host our car/trailer?
Cheers!
Obrigado!
Gracias!
João Barbosa

did that a few years ago, but parked our car+trailer at a campsite in Estepona, about 50 or 60 km's north of Algeciras.
Was a nice simple campsite, not too expensive. They charged 5 euro's a night for the parking, in a closed off parking area with a locked gate.
'Camping Parque Tropical' @ 36.454052,-5.080918
From Malaga take the A7 to Algeciras. After km '162' on the N340, on the richt you'll see a pink building with huge letters: CAMPING.
