Find new friends. It's a pretty little country with friendly people, some sights to see and good riding along the border with Montenegro. Insurance, if you buy it, is cheap--I entered from Serbia and the UN troops manning the border didn't require anything. I later was accosted by Kosovo police but they let me off following an amr-waving sign-language conversation about Kosovo nationalism and Serbian intransigence.
I was there for just a few days. I remember hotels being somewhat limited and expensive, in addition to doubling as brothels in the time-honored manner of hotels wherever there are UN actions going on.
Hope that's helpful.
