Quick trip to Normandy, anyone?
I have a place in France in Calvados between St Lô and Bayeaux and will be taking a quick trip there 12th - 14th October to mow the lawn etc. before the onset of Winter. (I have someone there who keeps an eye on the place when I'm not there, but he doesn't stretch to gardening.)
Anyone fancy joining me? Accommodation will be cheap - and even cheaper if you help me whizz through my tasks - and there will be plenty of time to explore some of the local roads (and greenlanes).
It'll be my first overseas trip on my Tiger 955i too.

Rotten timing
I'm off to normandy with a mate this coming thursday (20th). I'm trying out portsmouth to Le Havre on LD lines (new to me). If any one is on the boat, lets have coffee (or rather cocoa as its a bit late). Grey 1200gs system panniers and a givi box.

There are a couple of us going, so there's still plenty of room for more.
I'll be arranging a similar trip next March/April and will post something on here when I've got a date sorted.

That's bad timing. I've had to postpone it for a few weeks because I've got to work the weekend I planned to go.
I'm actually in the process of changing my ferries today to early November instead.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
