Selling or Storing a bike in Greece

I have a honda AFrica twin (1992) that I have been riding for about 5 months now all across europe. I bought it in Germany and road until I ran out of money. Im in Greece now, and not sure what to do. Im trying to decide if I should sell it or if I can find a place to store it without forking over a ton of dough.

Here are the details on it:
51k miles (but its running like a champ!)
New rear tire (less than 1k miles on it)
H&B 40L locking saddlebags
Metz tires
Wirespring progressive shocks (awesome!)
Harro Elephant Body tank bag (not in the best condition but usable for sure!)
Chain and lock
protective bars all over it with a big metal plate on the undercarrage
heated grips
awesome after market exhaust
improved petcock (a known problem for AT but not mine!)
metal topcase
comes with sim cards! (Greece, Spain, Germany, Czech, Hungary, Albania)
most extra repair stuff (break fluid, extra wire for break/clutch) break/clutch handle, extra break pads (2 for front), chain cleaner and lube, simple toolkit. AND I can give you the european maps from Garmin ($250 value!)

It does have two dings in its ferrings - they arnt bad but they are there. If people are really interested I can take pictures of them and more of it (god knows I have a ton!)

Its basically an awesome ride! you sit pretty high up, like a horse! The sound is awesome, the power is great and perfect to go on or off road. Made albania possible which is a must see! It really is a great duel sport bike in that its comfortable at 80+ mph (not like sitting on a washing machine) but the has great suspension for really bumpy off road enviornments.

But Id be just as happy if I could find a pretty cheap place to store it!
Thanks!

Hey, thought that might be you. I'm the guy complaining about his KLR 650 balancer chain at the Butrint ferry the other day. Glad to hear you made it to Greece and relative sanity (e.g., traffic lights that function, drivers who've been at it longer than 6 months, etc.).

Safe travels, however things work out in |Greece. If you're ever up my way (northwest Washington State), give a holler.

enjoy,

Mark

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
