Tyer dealer in Denmark?

Hi guys,

couldn't find anything on a forum search, so hope this is the appropriate place to post.

134 days into my euro trip and my rear tyre is looking pretty tread-bare. I'm trying to locate a tyre dealer that won't stitch me up in Denmark, around Copenhagen or otherwise. I've tried google, but I guess searching in english limits the potential/successful hits. Got a hit off a Metzeler dealer search outside Copenhagen, but that's the best I can find so far.

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance
- Kenny

Which tire/size are you looking for and when do you need it?

I live near Vordingborg 100 km south of Cph. A friend of mine runs the local bike shop and I'm sure that he will make you a good offer if I ask him.
I also have connections with dealers in Cph, so if you prefer to have it done there, I can still be of some help.

Cheers
Tonny

Here are some links but you can just go to any MC dealer, they'll have tyres.
Nobody will cheat you but the bigger shops will normally be more expensive (as everywhere else) but have brand tyres.
The smaller shops might be cheaper but don't buy any chinese or eastern tyres, they could even be dangerous.

Probably not very practical if you're travelling, but I usually buy my tyres at the local equivalent to here : http://www.daekonline.dk/Motorcykeldaek.html , then just fit them myself. I've had Tyres arrive on the following day on 2 occasions and there's a good amount saved compared to local bikeshops or tyre dealers .

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
