Where would you fill up??

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if you know where i'll find the cheapest Diesel out of; France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Slovenia?
I've got a large aux fuel tank ready for my desert trips, but have so far bottled out of testing it properly (at over £1 / L i just couldn't do it to myself!!)
I'm off to play in the Alpes tomorrow, so thought its about time to bite the bullet as it were.
Any recent prices greatfully received

Happy travels
Sam

Prix des carburants en France, site gouvernemental

europe comparative feul prices here (dunno how up to date it is though)
Karzoo Covoiturage France : Prix des carburants en Europe

here in burgundy I'm paying about 0€945 per liter at leclerc or Elf.

hope that helps.

Thanks MooN,
It looks like, no matter how i dress it up, this fill up is going to hurt!!
From the 2nd link, it looks like Austria or Slovenia would be the way to go.
I saw Bertrand mention Switzerland was cheap in another post though ( Hi, if you're there)
Any other recent experiences??
Sam

Diesel was 1.04€/L over here in Slovenia this morning....and going up (apparently) , if that can be of any help. Across the border in Italy it must be about 10c more, at least..(and also going up).

Regardless of where you are in Europe, head for a supermarket. In France you can pay up to 20cents more per litre at independent garages.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
