Genuine parts
Hi peeps, anyone got any good websites to buy genuine parts online? I've got an XR250R and all the bike shops round here are crap All road bikes, the nearest 'off road' dealer is 30-40 miles away!
Cheers, Ben

I often hear what i consider unecessary comment on various bikes dealer network. In my view when you buy a bike of whatever origins, it would be wise to form a working relationship with a couple good online suppliers. If by some chance you have someplace local to where you usually live, consider that to be a bonus.
This does not help you at all, but once you have found your supplier, he will be on hand wherever you are in the world. Provided you have such a supplier and the bike is not too exotic to be field repairable you will be able to venture where you will and sleep easy

Ben,
You could take a look at:
Honda Motorcycle Parts at David Silver Spares
I haven't used them but lots of others have!
I have used:
MoTo-WARD Ltd Website by telephone ordering and they provided a good service providing genuine parts for my Yamaha; perhaps they do Honda spares, they are certainly into off-road racing. (tel 01403 823222)
Cheers,
Dave

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
