I was wondering the same thing. I have the 650L and have only found One or Two viable options for this model. Seems to me that this is One of the more popular bikes so there should be more in the way of racks out there.

I bought a XR400 rack and modified it to fit the 600. The design is subtly different between the 400 and 600 but the 600 to 650 is quite different.
or,
Another suggestion is to go to a welder locally and get him to make you one. Might be a cheaper option.
or
Not sure if XRonly still sells a Xr600 rear rack, did see a guy selling custom Xr600 racks a while back

XR's are getting a bit old school now so stuff like racks are not going to be something that you'll find for sale as easily as you would have 10 or 15 yrs ago. That said if you're only looking to carry light stuff it wouldn't be hard to make one. Anything over about 5 -10kg though and you're into more substantial engineering.

Pro Moto Billet builds racks and XRs only sells them.
If you had an XR650L there is also the Manracks option.

Hey gus,
I think I may have the Scott Summers racing rack for the xr600
I bought it for a 2000 model so it fits earlier ones.
I think it may be missing some of the bolts, but it was used very little.
Let me know if you are interested.
I think I still have a skid plate for it as well.
And a new right side foot peg bracket that I never put on.

thanks
