Please help me from setting fire to my bike
I have a 2stroke CRM250AR (keihin CV carb) in the garage that I really need to sort out.
The basic history (sparing the endless problems I already solved) is this
The engine seized. I fit new piston and at the same time fit one size bigger
jets to pilot and main. Start the bike she revs through the ceiling - hit the cut out switch - make
some adjustments -checking for air leaks etc.. kick her up and she revs through the ceiling again - great way to break in the new piston.
come back the next morning and she never started. Days of kicking and fiddling havent helped. I have a spark. fresh fuel is coming through.
Any ideas?
Could it be that the pilot s too large even though it was one size up?
whats the rule of the thumb setting the idle screw *before* starting the bike - after carb strip down.
This bike has been out of action for 6 months now
You're my only hope
