Transalp wheel replacement
Hi all, ive just bought a 2002 alp for commuting and it neds a bit of work doing to it, including new wheel rims. I wanted to fit tubeless tyres on, so want cast wheels, does anyone know if any other model bike has rims that i can put straight onto the alp? thanks in advance!

Try asking here:
Honda Trail Bike Forums
If you're fitting wheels from another bike, you need to factor in the following:
Rim width: clearance issues
Rim diameter: ride height & gearing issues
Tyre sizes: see all of the above
Brakes: use the matching caliper, carrier & disc for the wheel you're swapping in.
Spindle diameter: swap wheel bearings to suit or modify the swingarm if possible.
Chain clearance / sprocket alignment: don't want chain rubbbing on the tyre & be careful about spacing the rear sprocket out to far or you'll be needing to space the front out to match or worse, modify the frame.
Access to lathes & mills makes the above swap a lot easier.

Tubebliss
Anybody got experiences with the Tubliss System??
(see: TUbliss : Go Tubeless With The Ultimate Traction Control System)
Some friends are enthusiastic, using this however " just" in endurosport. The idea is ingenious and the advantages is clearly obvious , but what is about long-term experiences? Perhaps somebody here get already some Km travel practice with "tubeless tubetires"??
