Hi Jens,
since I am back in Germany and hzad some trouble with lost keys, corrupt policemen I would like to make workshop about "2nd set of keys, documents, important items and where to store them"
Especially the last part is not less important than just having the stuff with you. A key inside the bike, that you can not access after the main one is lost will drive you mad and nuts, especially in a country where nobody speaks your language and neither English....
Also about carring cash money for emergency and how to split and hide it, the same for a spare credit card and sth. more...
Looking forward to the meeting
Alex

And if you forget your swimwear it's not a problem to book just the sauna area. No swimwear allowed in that bit.
Had a great time last year and met some great people.
Well done Jens.
Nick.

Help needed
Hello from 2 Aussie Travellers (HU Members Queensland Australia), we are looking for some help if possible. We flew into Germany about 4 days ago and our two bikes were supposed to arrive tomorrow, but unfortunatley there was a problem with the banks and the Motorbikes will not arrive till possibly next Monday. If anyone has a spare tent and a blow up mattress we would be eternally grateful. All of our gear is in the crate at Thai Airways Bangkok.

Just came back from the meeting in Ober-Liebersbach. Thx you! (For the organisation, the presentations, the people around, the havana club, the knopers, the cool atmosphere ... and everything).
Keep smiling - keep travelling!
@Curt
Where are you? Where do you plan do go? Is your gear already there?

Thanks for all the hospitality and the chance to share about off pavement riding in Montana. A huge thanks to the fellow for the suggestion to ride Furka Pass in the Swiss Alps on our way to Albertville. We made it to Birg where a warm shower and pizza dinner were wonderful.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
