Allright guys, we should be able to make it! I just got message from BMW that they replaced my gearbox etc so the bike should be fixed by tomorrowevening, so we should be there by friday afternoon.

I am also finishing the presentation about DSLR Photography for all of you who wants to know a bit more about making (better) pictures with a DSLR camera.

@ Jens; don't be nervous! ;-)

btw, I AGREE WITH ESTEBAN ABOUT THE STICKERS WITH THE NICKS! I honestly don't really care what bike somebody drives, you can do 'anything' with 'any' bike, but placing a head on a name is way better... ;-) So we will do this... although my real name is also Seb, so not really a problem here... ;-)

CU friday!!!!!

Good you can come!

Well, my real name is Margot and not "Renato aka Montebianco", in case you see me around. Don't be misled, I actually prefer Margot to Renato, so please call me so if we meet.

Anyone heard about SNOW? Supposedly here in Switzerland it will snow above 500mts...

Missed Toby's presentation! I was really interested. What about South America (at least)? And the grips (about to buy a couple)... Any rehersals?

See you tonight! Crossfingers for "no snow, please".

The meeting is going to it's end and whoever was not here: you were wrong!
We had sunnybeachweather, 30+°C and a bikini contest... oh wait... that's just me dreaming... ;-) anyways 4 pics that tell a lot about how it was for me:

Needed a lighter to heat up the ignitionkey and the locks on the panniers...

It was nice at night:

CU next time!

@Seb, could it be, that the weatherforcast was wrong . My weather app is guilty

@Jens, when is the meeting in june???

Great meeting. I'am so happy, that I was there. And with my new heating grips, the way home was easy to make (thanks to the dieselrider). Did learn so much, met interesting people, got many travelinfos, had a loot of fun.

Thanks.

angelika

ps: on the way home, I made it through the construction

Enjoyed it a lot, even if we arrived too late and missed some nice presentations, but other cool ones. And it was really nice to meet some hubbers in person.

See you all in June, we'll go with two new members of the family: a little girl... and a Chinese Peaklife GPS I got yesterday. I hope there will be presentations on both travelling with children and navigation! (already started to look for volunteers for the 2nd in June!)

Thanks again JENS for your time and effort. A+.

You are very welcome to HUBB, nice to see you around. Be sure you will have great time here, many like-minded poeple. And you cannot miss next meeting in May-June!

I had actually planned to upload the pics on motostrail "especialmente dedicado a Yogi"!

And if SEB sees my pictures after his great photographyworkshop, he's going to kill me :-)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
