Last years first meeting was a 100% success. Ok, the bugs where a bit annoying at times, but they are also part of Swedens ecosystem ;-). We had a great time camping, sitting around the campfires sharing travel stories, listening to presentations about Women's Riders Association (WIMA), a trip to Iceland, a trip to Canada. We also learned how to change tires and fix flats. We did two guided tours, a shorter one to a spectacular waterfall and a second longer to Pilkalampinoppi, the best viewpoint in the are. And we where really lucky with the weather! So this years meeting will hopefully repeat last years successful start.

Don't change a successful concept, so except of the time (fri-mon because this is the start of my summer vacation) I will again fix a shorter and a longer guided tour, hopefully find some volunteers for presentations and show you one of the nicest areas in Sweden.

See you in Rosentorp 6.8.July!

HU Sweden 2019

Hi, just signed up.

Looking forward to this.

Mosquitos/mygg and midges/knott are always a problem, but at least they don't carry diseases in Scandinavia - yet!

Ticks are another matter, so be vigilant. They are a real problem for me.

Beautifull part of the world.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
