My First HU Meeting
Hi
It was my first HU meeting but it definitely won't be my last. My son and I had a blast.
Couple of pictures...
This stretch limo was seen in Okotokes AB on our way out. It had a kitchen sink and counter across the back seats and a great leather suitcase on the trunklid. Travelling from Patagonia to alaska. Does anyone know them?
cheers
Colin

I'm looking at attending Nakusp in 2015 and I'm wondering if anyone brings their kids. My son ( 15 ) and I are planning on doing a 9000km trip from Vancouver Island to San Diego and zig zag back hitting all the MLB parks along the way. I think this would be a good experience for him as he has shown a keen interest in motorcycle travel.
Just wondering if this is adult only or if teenagers are accepted?

Hi, no problem, teenagers are fine! It's not ideal for young children as there are NO facilities for them, and we have VERY few come, it's primarily adults - after all, you need a motorcycle license to really get anything out of the event.
This year a man and his 14-15 year old son came and had a great time, and will be back next year.
Under 16 is free, over 16 is regular price.
See you next year!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
