For all the people going to the California meeting there are some things to know.

1. California fire season is if full swing so NO fires not one not to burn trash or roasting marshmallows on, noting.

2. the Lost Coast is in Humboldt county is one of the USA largest pot growing areas. The people that plan there do not want you riding back in the woods disturbing a grow operation. So don't. Look out stay out of privet land and public land if you see some leve it be.

3. Cows! Cows all over the place every time have been there there the cows are on the road. Not 1 or 2 but 20 or 30 and not in one place so slow it down.

4. The roads there a blast but it is not in the best shape think the locals like it that way. When there wet look for slick spots same with the redwoods. The speed limit is slow and the road is narrow.

5. This area is old California Sea and farm land and not much else. Old timers will know what I speak farm land a few houses a small store and half mile of dunes with nothing on it then the sea. If you did not bring it is long ride to get it.

6. This is a travellers meeting not a hotel. Just like a real RTW ride You and I can not control all the things that will hapen. Like cold showers, rain, the cows.

7. It is the coast there may be fog it may be damp and there will be sand on some of the roads.
