This would be at the BMWMOA rally.
Thursday July 18th through Saturday July 20th. My wife and I will be there and I think that Harvey and Lisa may be there also.
=============================
Correction - it's July 11-14!

I'm looking forward to the slide shows too. We're giving a safety seminar Friday morning for the chain gang so hopefully it won't interfere.

They haven't bothered to tell me when we're up, so I have no idea.
See you there anyway!

We now know when we're speaking:
Friday, July 12
"3:00-5:00 p.m., Club 105
Horizons Unlimited—13 Years Around The World
Why would anyone ride a motorcycle through Africa, South America, Europe and Alaska? Grant and Susan Johnson have ridden their BMW R80 G/S two-up over 40 countries and 5 continents, and they’re not black belts, daredevils or super heroes. This show will inspire you to hit the road yourself and show you what you’ll see when you get there. Included are valuable travel tips and a question period! After you’ve seen this show, see the Johnson’s second seminar to learn how you can do it yourself."
Saturday, July 13
"8:45-10:15 a.m., Club 105
Horizons Unlimited—The “How To” of Long Distance Travel
Everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask. Answers from helpful folks at www.HorizonsUnlimited.com. Is it really safe to go to Africa, or Mexico or South America or ?? Where to go? Which bike to take? What do I really need to do to the bike, what’s the right gear and clothes, which tools to take, and what about maintenance on the road? What paperwork do I need for myself and the bike? How do I ship the bike to another continent? What are the tricks to cross a border easily, deal with corrupt officials, connect with other travelers, send e-mail from Timbuktu, find accommodations and stay healthy on the road? Time for questions, demonstrations of bike mods, gear and sharing checklists."
For more details on the rally itself and other seminars, here's the link:

See you there!
Susan

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
