HU Meeting: Viedma, Argentina
Anyone going to the HU meeting in Viedma on December 8-9? I am an expat living in BsAs and thinking about heading down to meet some fellow riders, but have seen very little mention of the meeting here so far.
You goin'?

People have been talking about this, just not in this forum. Stop thinking about it, haul that fatboy out and plan on being there.

Pretty sure I'm going, but the Fatso is staying in its air conditioned, heated storage vault in Houston, TX. The Alpie does a good job of taking care of me down here.

Viedma/Ushuaia 007
Perhaps the 007 part is most appropriate regarding the Viedma/Ushuaia 007 event. Based on the great photos of past Veidma/Ushuaia events of the past, it appears that somehow, those of the Hubb, found each other, ate, drank and were careful.
We are leaving Buenos Aires last day or two of November and should be arriving Viedma very early December. We will 007 around to find camping and those of the Hubb. The British might have a leg up on this sort of thing, anyway, anyone use a CB radio (citizens band) and if so what channel?
Meanwhile we are off to beaches north of Punta del Este, Uruguay November 8th....and be there a week or so.....wave if you see us....and by the way anyone seen or herd (pun intended) of any cattle mutilations or UFO siteings in Argentina? Ed and Elisa, two red Hondas.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
