8th Northern Mini Meet
Hi all
Does anyone fancy another meet? Thinking early-mid March, what does everyone think? Let me know what weekends you are available on.
Chris/Fritz - I know you have both mentioned the Green Dragon at Hardraw and Chris, you popped into see him and said he was quite interested in having us so I propose there as the venue.

I should have a bike (waiting to collect new bike).
Hopefully Laura has bought a trail bike so we can get her on a couple of trails.

Sounds good. In March I can't do 21/22.
28Feb/01Mar, 07/08 and 14/15 March are good at the moment, subject to exit pass from her indoors. Am currently in LA after superb Baja California trip (flying back tomorrow) so need to check Aimee's diary.
The Green Dragon at Hardraw is worth a go.
cheers
Chris

New bike
I have a transalp, in preparation for heading off round Europe in April - so March'll be the last you'll see of me for a few months!
Although given that 3 hours after buying it I went a*** over t**, Europe might be a bit ambitious
Still no harm done, that's what happens when they close the M5 and you end up on an icy back road late at night...
And it's got engine guards so I can't damage anything important anyway. Well except myself! Mud and rocks here we come
Laura
PS if anyone knows anyone who wants a GPZ...

Hello folks,
I watched you Tan Hill thread with interest, and I wish that I had joined you then, but I haven't sorted luggage for my XTZ yet, I would like to meet up with you,so I shall plan to come along, Hawes is only abot 50 miles from me so I have no excuses, and no dates fixed at the moment, so I will go with what dates you decide

Dates
I leave on the 3rd April, so very end of March could be rather too busy (putting stuff in storage for 4 months...). Other than that any time works for me (until someone books me for work at the last minute obviously!)

How about seeing if the green dragon can take us on the weekend 14/15th then that gives a focus for everyone to set the date and make arrangements as they need to.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
