Provided weather not too wintry, both of us likely there (if too wintry I'll be in the mountains).
Last time we camped there a vole nested under the tent...then proceeded to eat through a very expensive groundsheet and through the arm of Bev's bike jacket! A very expensive nights camping. (not a risk in Winter!). Great place and pub - plus nice waterfall on site.

March 6-8th @ The Green Dragon
Hi all
Just spoken to The Green Dragon and unfortunately they already have a 'do' on the weekend of 14/15 so I have checked the weekend before and that is ok, so 8NMM will be 6-8th March at The Green Dragon, Hardraw.
They have room for camping and accomodation, pricing is as follows:
Camping: £5 per person, per night (No open fires allowed)
B+B: £35 per person, per night
They will do brekkies for us campers, price will be about £6.
Anyone wanting to book a room should phone The Green Dragon direct (01969 667392) and ask for Yvonne or Stuart.
Fritz - if it's wintry and you're away in the hills sledging, does Bev go with you or will she come and meet us? I do hope you both come along.
So, all those in favour, say aye!

Debz .. was talking to the Green Dragon and she seems to be waiting for a confirmation that we are coming. Told her that as far as I knew it was on.

Hi Rob
Aye, I have to confirm in writing, which I will do this weekend. She has asked for a letter rather than email.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
