My Aprilia won't be going off road either but it would be good to put faces to names. At present, I can't see a reason why I couldn't make those dates.

Haha, this weather is killing me. Since getting this bike I've turned in to a fair weather rider. I've never had a bike like it, Ducati's included, for bolts and fasteners corroding so quickly. Going to get myself a proper rat bike soon so I can get my fix.

Me and my son are travelling down and meeting Debz in sunderland before riding over - depending on time and weather might take a little diversion along the scenic route through middleton over towards brough kirby stephen and down to the site from there if its really grotty i will be going a slightly more direct route.

Craig,
As Jake says, we're meeting up to ride down. We usually leave early afternoon but not set in stone yet. You're welcome to join us for the ride down. Iain (Patta) will be leaving early evening after his work.

Sounds good. I was looking at the map on the Green Dragon's website and was thinking pretty much the same, maybe going via Stanhope and over the moor to Middleton as it's been ages since I did that route.

Take 2!!
Hi there,
I am determind to make it to NMM8 and have the dates in my diary... just need to stay healthy this time!
Have spoken to other's from the Edinburgh lot and it sounds like there will be a few of us! Although, I won't be going off road as I don't think my SV would like it!
Looking forward to seeing folk from the Scottish MM again and to meeting lots of new people,
Beej

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
