Put a McCallan on the bar for me
Hi Bruce, Hi Angus, Hi Rory, Hi guys,
I see you're doing it again in Cannich. I want to be there!! But I wont. Bummer.
To anyone thinking of doing this. Do it. Great people and a fantastically beautiful area. The ride to and walk at Glen Affric is a must.
I am actually coming over again this year, but with the GF this time and I may get to Inverness if the weather is not too cold. (Orders from GF) No bike, doing the tourist thing for her. London ,Paris, Barcelona, Italy.
I'm thinking, if I can swing it, of spending the whole summer in Scotland next year. If anyone knows of a cheap cottage or something that I could rent for a couple of months, let me know. Little village or something in the highlands or West coast would be the go.
I hope you all have a great time. It was cool.(cold)
Seeya Ed

Hi Ed
Glad to hear you still favour the Macallan. I will do as you say and put one on the bar . We will miss you although it is hardly as though you can pop in. Thanks for promoting the meet - the uptake is a bit slow this year but all being well we will get some new as well as the old faces. Make sure you look us out if you get back to Scotland next year,
Chizz (Bruce)

Hi all
Just to confirm I'm coming. May also be able to persuade a pal to come along. New to biking but a veteran in the pub stakes.
Looking forward to putting face to names and as a newbie on bikes hearing all your pearls of wisdom.
Cheers
Kevin

I'll be there if I can, depending on work/money - if he's got his test & a bike by then I might even get the other half along for the first time!

The possible (of getting along) is getting more like probable - but still one or two things to sort out first - but hoping to see you all there. Jake.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
