Well, that is me booked in. Really looking forward to it - I just hope that the event goes ahead - there will be plenty of fresh air and loads of sunshine in sunny Wales. I mean, what could go wrong?

Well, given the weather we had this last weekend I suspect that we would have got very, very wet if we had gone to HUBBUK in 2020. Good decision to cancel it for this year by Susan and Grant - I knew that they had experience at travelling around the world by motorbike but I didn't realise that they were such expert long range weather forecasters.

2020 > 2021

Hi Grant, hope all is well with Sue and yourself.

For those of us who booked in 2020 and have decided to carry over our bookings to 2021.

I can see above that you say we need to nothing and that bookings will be carried over.

But, will we be getting a confirmation message of our bookings?

I always like to have confirmation on paper.

Best regards
DaveR

Hi David,
All good here thanks, hope you are too!
I hadn't planned, or even thought about, a confirmation email as such, but will look at it. As noted, no need - you're good - we have everyone recorded, and the listing of everyone will be there on the day. I just checked your registration, you're ok, all paid, nothing to do except show up!

IF it all goes wrong for someone, we're easy to deal with We're not a big corporation, it's just us and volunteers.

We WILL send out a reminder to all registered that it's on in plenty of time! And of course we will note that you're all set in that email. I suppose that's a confirmation too

Hope that makes sense!

Hi Grant, that all makes the utmost sense.

Looking forward to meeting everyone again in 205 days.

Not that I'm counting

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
