Hi, I'm a bit of a newby at this!
Hope to make it to the campsite.Looking forward to the experience. I live in Galashiels, and have done France, Ireland and three times to Poland-Krakow, Gdansk and Goldap/Gyzicko, usually taking one of my sons as pillion.
Used a 1998 fireBlade and a 2007 cb1300. I'll probably be there just for the Saturday night, but may yet make it on the Friday.
Regards,
Baz.

Campsite now taking bookings!
Hi Everyone,
Appologies to those of you who have been trying to book your pitch for the weekend with the campsite... the problem has been resolved and they are now taking bookings.
But here's what happened...
I got in from work at 9pm on Monday to find an email from the campsite saying that due to past problems with groups (not motorcyclists) they only accept groups when they have a named person who will be responsible for the group and will pay a deposit (£100), refundable on leaving the site clean and with no damage. As you can imagine I was a bit shocked as nothing about this group deposit had been mentioned during either of the phone calls which myself or my husband had with the staff whilst organising the location.
This has been quite hard to resolve due our work hours but we have at long last managed to sort it out! However, we have had to come up with the £100 deposit!
Can I please encourage you all now to book in with the campsite quoting "HUBB MEET" and to pay for your pitch in advance to avoid anymore confusion or other unforseen problems!
Hope your all having a great week and looking forward to meeting you all around the campfire!
Beej & Chris

Hi Beej, I take it you still have places available on this on if so i might try to pootle along, the backs still pretty bad - waiting surgery but controlled by pain killers at the moment - I could probably make the trip with a few breaks in the journey. As i am now able to ride again for short runs at a time. It would be good to see some faces and have a as i have been cooped up at home for far two long.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
