Thanks for a great weekend and for making us so welcome!
Would do it all again, regardless of the weather.
Particular thanks to Beej and Chris for all the effort they put in to organise it all.
For a carnivore, I enjoyed the tree hugger breakfast in the cafe!
Great site.
(By the way, I had a huge mixed grill at the birthday party!!)
All the best to everybody,
Baz.

Hi Beej and Chris,
Thanks very much for the nice weekend! We enjoyed also the company, had a good laugh. We got back last night after a romantic evening at the campfire. Thanks again, Andy and Maya.

Thanks Beej and Chris
Had a great Friday night at the campfire, unfortunately couldn't stay the Saturday night.
Great meeting you all and thanks for the awesome stories.
Big Dave - Easy tiger, home brew is only for big boys
Got a puncture on the M9 when doing 70 - 75 MPH, back wheel, big ol speed wobble, managed to get it under control, my wee puncture repair kit worked a treat.
Thanks again and well done Beej and Chris.

Just realised I missed this, the last few weeks seem to have been a blur of work, vehicles breaking down and fitting the kitchen. Will hopefully get my arse in gear and get to the next one

Piotr, I like the photos.
Beej I love the awards, cant wait to tell Mike he won something. I am thinking it is his ploy to get a satnav but he will have to make do with a Laplander.
The Tipi is still hanging from the loft, making extra sure it is dry before it gets packed away for the winter. Mike has still to empty one of his panniers, not sure what will be found in there but at least when it is it will be preserved.
Dave ouch that bruise looked sore just annoyed I missed the acrobatics that caused it.
Andy & Maya safe trip hope to catch up with you in 2013.
Winter nights are here so google maps, and ferry timetables are the only things on my mind, well that and chopping another kindling supply.
See you all after winter hibernation.
Liz n Mike

Keep watching, I am sure there will be one after the summer (that is if we ever get one).
There is also a Mini Meet at Cannich usually in May.
Hopefully we will see you at one of these meets.
Where abouts are you???

If this is happening this year count me, it's not too far away. If it is anything like Cannich it will be brilliant.

Just saw your message tonight... we've been away!
We are indeed having another Campfire Mini Meet in October 2013... dates are unconfirmed as yet as Chris works shifts and is still waiting for his rota... will get the dates on here once we know them ourselves.
Looking forward to meeting you mountaincadre & greenmanalishi!

We are just south of Aberdeen so a wee bit further north than you. you have some nice biking roads on your doorstep. We have been exploring some of the borders roads this year however I did know them used to live in Berwickshire
Enjoy this site its great for ideas and loads of help.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
