UK 2011 Ripley - Raffle Prizes
Hi All,
As usual, HU are running a raffle at the Ripley Meet. This year it's in aid of the very worthy charity Motorcycle Outreach. www.motorcycleoutreach.org
We are on the hunt for raffle prizes and need your help with this. We had a bumper raffle last year and this year would love to top the earnings.
How can you help?
Please get in touch with any firms that you have connections with and see if you can snag a prize to bring along. It's great marketing for them to have a presence at the Meet. If the company supplies us with a couple of A5 flyers, we'll make sure they are well displayed.
And in fact it doesn't have to be a motorcycle firm. I know I'd love to win a bottle of wine or a box of chocs or...
Do you personally have anything you could bring along as a prize?
When you get to the Meet, just hand the prize over to Pink Helen on Registration - if you've been to the Meet before, you know who I mean : )
Hope you can help. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Cheers,
Sam

Hi Hairy Biker, Nice of you to ask I didn't know about you guys so went on line to have a look.
'Although a brotherhood, we are a family orientated club. We ride with other clubs in the South coast of England. Other clubs are welcome to join us for rides out. We attend several rallies each year.'
Sounds great. Yes please - really good of you to offer. Just hand it over to Pink Helen on Registration when you arrive at the Meet.
Many thanks!!!
See you there.
Cheers,
Sam
PS anyone else out there feeling in a generous mood?

Hmmm, must be something in my garage I could donate rather than flogging on Ebay...
I suspect most of us do!

Hi Dave, thanks for posting!!! And for the help thought. Yes please. Guess the only thing is that the prizes you can all hunt out should be new. I hope that doesn't cut the idea off at the ankles!
Looking forward to seeing you.
Cheers,
Sam

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
