Good to hear Neil and its nice to know there is a place on the net for advice should the time come for maintenance. Its funny how I have seen the KLE a lot over the last few years around London (im a despatch rider in the week), yet it never really occured to me that it may be a twin and also may be reliable as its been around a while. When I stumbled over a blue one in a shop last week I couldnt take my eyes off it and when I saw how reasonable the price was I went into 'I want that shiney object' mode and since reading about it have gone even deaper! As far as I can see a lot of Aussies use them in the outback and love them, which cant be a bad thing. There are a lot in South Africa too where im from originally, and this usually means they are solid as hell. (Top Gear highlights this in various Africa tests they have done with local cars)

Thanks Roy too I will take a look.

Thanks

Trav

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
