I am from Vietnam, now I have a Kawasaki KLE 400 too.
It's made 1999.

Please sent me a KLE 400 service manual to email: nguoidanong_sg@yahoo.com

Hi Luuk

Reading the threads I understand you have available a service manuel for a Kawasaki KLE 500 B1 2005, could you email a copy please. tate_ga@yahoo.co.uk

My KLE has a coolent leak from the bottom side of the water pump I hope it's only a gasket, any tips on that score would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Gary

I have a similar leak. I'm going to try a 6mm copper crusher washer on the coolant drain bolt and see if that works. Catch the coolant in something clean and you can reuse it.

Just as a matter of interest does your bike smell wretched on start up - like a harsh chemically smell?

You can use this 2005 manual too, they have changed only few things so the wiring diagram is almost the same except lights (because 2005 models have 2 light bulbs) and main panel (wnere are the meters and light indicators) is also changed.
So just download it from the links posted some pages before and start working on your bikes.

Trust me I have a KLE400 and still it worked with this manual!
