Hand cast from pure lead with a tad of tin/antimony. Recycle local roof flashing and any other free stuff I can find

Drop me a mail and we can chat about it Luuk.

As before pjboomeratfreeukdotcom

Cheers,
Paul

Hi! I'm owner of KLE of year 1998. I've this bike for half a year and I'm satisfied with it. Now it's standing still in garage for winter and for some tuning - I'm planning to add touring windshield, shockbars and hand protectors.

Concerning manual I found one under this link http://www.motocikli.com/files/kle500manual.pdf

Smile Hi - Nice to meet other fans!!

Hi my name is Cardy - from Yorkshire!

I bought a KLE *2003 last year and I love it. I have been living in Barcelona for 4 years, so we have some great mountain roads and Green lanes around Catalunya. I have been on several weekend camping trips with the bird on the back and we have found great pleasure from green lane style riding at low speeds, I have ridden to the top of 3 mountains on my KLE including Montsen at about 1300m, mostly riding on grass/moss or easy gravel road.

On some of the more difficult sections my suspension bottomed out quite often, causing damage to the "kickstand safty immobiliser sensor".

This problem is due to the fact that when I bought my 2nd hand KLE, the previous owner had short legs and had lowered the front shocks down about 2cm and put the rear shock down onto the lowest setting.

I have been considering tweeking my bike for a while and today I found a tail raising kit for about 25 quid that will allow more ground clearance than the highest Standard setting. (Thanks for the Pics)

If you want to check it out I got the web address.

Tail riser*Kawasaki*KLE 500 alle Bj.

Mine kit is on the way so I will send pics once I have it sorted!

Also I have been trying to find the English workshop manual in Spain and it not easy! Please, please could you send it to me. I too want to learn how to look after my KLE.....

Cheers, Cardy

Hi all. I would like a manual for my kle500, I have tried clicking on the first link posted but that file is not available and the second link posted is for a brand new bike.

Does anyone here have a manual for an old kle please that I can download?

Many Thanks and safe riding.

KLE manual

Hello there.

The KLE has basically only changed cosmetically. The manual should be fine for any model. It is the manual for the 500, and I am using it for the 400. 95% of the 2 bikes are the same, so the manual works good enough.

Regards

KLE 500 manual

Hi to everybody
I've got a KLE 500 and it is the most reliable motorbike i've ever used.
I live in Lamia-Greece and here is a litle dificult to find a dessent mechanic to service my KLE 500. In most cases they will jump around like indians in order to chase away the evil spirits or if they know their job they will charge you a small fortune. KLE 500 is realy an unbreakable motor and i can do all the service that it needs ( spark plugs - oill - brake pads - filters - chain... etc ) on my own , so i realy need the service manual for it.
I've cheked this link http://ursa.irk.ru/manual
but there is no manual for KLE 500 .
I will be grateful to anyone can send my the service manual for KLE 500 ( or 400 it is practically the same ).

my mail is

s12original@yahoo.gr
or
s12original@hotmail.com

KLE500 manual please

Hi Luuk, If you still have the manual, I'd really appreciate a copy emailed to jay-cee@bigpond.com. We have an older KLE500 that we use as a backroads touring bike when we travel in our motorhome. many thanks, Rob
