Need Parts for 2005 KLE 500B
G'day Guys, I need a few parts for my bike. A couple of months ago I was taken out on the motorway by a bus and I've got myself all put back together but my bike is still missing some parts.
I've found it very hard to find these things in New Zealand so perhaps somebody here can assist me with getting them, or put me onto somebody who can help. I don't mind paying shipping fees to get these things bought over from the states but I would like to get them all in one go if there coming from that far away.
I'm after a set of Handle bars, a clutch hand lever, a foot brake pedal, and the rear box holder/number plate holder/brake light, basicially that whole rear part of my bike is broke . I'm new to riding so my apologies if I have milabeled these parts, when I get home tonight I'll put some pictures up of the damage and the broken parts so you know whats missing. The fairings are all cracked and scraped on the left side (clutch side) of the bike but they're not essential as I just want to get it running again.
Ideally I'm after somebody parting one of these bikes out. If you can help please fire me a PM or email me at hayden_connolly@hotmail.com

I have the stock handlebars for sale, but since I am in Europe the postage would most likely cost more than the bars are worth. My suggestion is that if you have some extra cash go with renthal enduro high bars (part nr: 613-01). They improve the riding position a lot.
As for the clutch lever, you can get a set of aluminium ones here quite cheap: CNC Adjustable Clutch Brake Levers Set for Kawasaki I have them on my KLE for 3 years and they are good replacement.
Also look on e-bay, there is a lot of stuff on there for kle's.
Hope you get it sorted soon!

Brake levers, handlebars and footbrake lever should probably be available through one of your local genuine or non genuine bike parts shops in NZ.
There are online stores here in Oz that will ship to you (will try to post a link when I get on computer instead of my phone).
I'm also looking for a second KLE to get as a "spare parts" bike.
The tail section you want is the same on both the earlier single headlight models (like mine) and on the later twin headlight models.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
