The comment about the parts for landies being cheaper stands true in the UK, but few other places. When it comes down to it any vehicle will do with the right prep. But if you spend time anywhere where there's long distances and remote rough conditions (OZ, Africa) land rovers will be in the minority. Is the reason for that?? who knows, could just be clever marketing on the jap side??? Would a Toyota be easier to get parts for in these areas???
