Supporting Indigenous Artists RTW
The plan is to leave May 22 2022 to go RTW on a motorcycle - but of course in my own way. I'm a techy/musician/videographer and now moving into VR with the intent of recording myself and grassroots musician, thinkers or anybody interesting while I go.
There's a few things that bother me about this. The last thing I want to do is take advantage of anybody, or profit from their art. Second is to feel somewhat intrusive.
How could you organize or create a monetary system that provides income for those recorded - They get full credits - is transparent - and sends funds directly to the artists?
It seems an impossible task, as I'm moving almost everyday. I imagine there will be times when things are just too great and I'll hang for days or even weeks ( Montreal Jazz Festival - awesome festival) - but the problem still presents itself.
Just thinking out loud.
