UAE, south to Africa
Hi, I will be leaving Dubai on the 23rd Aug on my way to Tanzania. Am travelling through Oman, Yemen Ethiopia etc. Anyone like to join me for all or part of the way? I will head straight toward Muscat then Salalah as I want to spend a little time looking around the south of Oman.
Cheers

To Salalah
Hi
Plan so far is 23rd to Muscat from Dubai, collect bike and put some parts on it. Leave Muscat on 25th for Salalah and take a few days to get there camping I hope other wise hotels? I used to live and work in Sohar, Oman so don't need to spend too long there as I have already seen a fair bit of it. Would like to take about 2 - 3 days to Salalah and spend a couple there as well to have a look about then into Yemen and south.
Be great to have you join me if you would like to?
Cheers
Ivan

Hey Sheiky
If you can't fit in with Ivan to Salalah, I might be interested in going down again in the coming months. It'd be a bit cheaper than the proposed AGMC BMW trip to Jordan over Eid!
Regards, Stephan

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
