There is no information when any ferries will start running again at the moment.
Ferry companies will sell you a ticket but until there is an official announcement from the authorities they are just guessing when sailing will start again.
GNV have been cancelling sailing for early April over the last couple of days

Be aware Ramadan will be in full swing late April. Eid al-Fitr is 2/3rd May.

Re-opening
Gents,
Hello, the press around here in Spain is already announcing the reopening of borders in a few days from now.
https://telegra.ph/Marruecos-reabrir...a%C3%B1a-03-27
Still to be confirmed, but our Prime and Foreign Affair ministers have an appoinment in Rabat on 1st April for a new agreement between Morocco and Spain.
Regards.
Marcos.

La Meridionale announced today the cancellation of ferries due to the lack of decision from the Moroccan Authorities.
GNV aren't taking any bookings until after the 15th April via their website

Are La Meridionale not based in France? All of their routes appear to come from France and, as such, are not restricted by the issue between Morocco and Spain?

Yes, but any change in the ferry connections will affect all ferries.
The France and Italy routes ran up until November whereas the Spanish routes have been closed to passengers for 2 years with the exception of repatriation ferries that stopped 12 months ago

Yes, but I plan to go real south and even until Dakar if the borders are open, so I need time and 2 or 3 days of ramadan is not a real problem for tourists.
Anyway if there's no ferry...

Hi,
There won't be any trustable news until April 1st, but today again this:
https://www.puentedemando.com/posibl...con-marruecos/
mentions "moroccan media" suggesting 7th of april as a likely date for the line Tarifa-Tangier resuming , Ceuta and Melilla possibly later and with some restrictions.
It also takes for granted that next summer the traffic of ferries will be fully normalised in all southern Spain ports for the moroccan people holidays "Marhaba" campaign.
Regards
Marcos.

There’s a repatriation ferry arranged for the 9th April if anyone needs it. Its from Tanger to Marseille with La Meridionale.
I had a look at FRS ferries website today as the media keeps reporting FRS will run a ferry from Tarifa on the 7th. Their website says all ferries are suspended.
As I posted in the COVID thread Spain has announced land borders will remain closed until the end of April.

Hello from a new member to this forum.
My partner and I have booked tickets from Marseille to Tangiers and haven't received any confirmation of a cancellation. On the website it has conflicting information regarding Covid-19. I see an update on their website, but underneath this update, they also have information requiring covid tests for the Morocco line.
