When I got to Tangier, I saw sign for money conversion. I changed some money and asked about sim card. He pointed me next door. There, I bought an Orange brand SIM card for 3 Euros and 10GB of data for 5 Euros. He didn't have proper pin to eject current SIM from my Samsung 9 and made a thumb tack work. I will add a paperclip to my future travel spares.

May I ask what people have been paying for ferries recently?
A return ticket in a Land Rover 110 for 2 people is costing just shy of £500 in September.
I appreciate most of you are 2 wheeling it, but curious if the routes are much different in costs or would it have been better to try on the day if it becomes possible.
We’re going Almeria > Melilla then return from Melilla > Malaga, purely as these were the cheapest using the ferries own website (Balearia)

Ferries
Hi Over
That seems a lot, but maybe the season.
It is worth the drive to Algaciras as this much shorter/cheaper, at the moment 140 euro 1 way for van and 2 pax.

Ferries
Try www.viajesnormanie.net. for the Algeciras-Tan Med crossing.
They used to be one of the most competitive but not sure what the pandemic may have done to their business.

Post covid pices are up significantly and its also Operation Marhaba until the 15th September so a lot of demand.
I've seen prices of 250 euro for a 4x4 and 2 people advertised for the Algeciras Tanger Med route at the moment

Getting motorcycle insurance on a Sunday
Hello
Can anyone advise me if it is possible to get motorcycle insurance on a Sunday in Tangier Med? I will be arriving around mid-day on the 23rd of October which is a Sunday.
Thanks

Insurance place should be open. On a few occasions I’ve arrived on a Sunday evening and it’s been closed.

A video trip from Malaga to Tangier Med
For anyone wanting to know about travelling from Algerciras to Tangier Med Noraly Schoenmaker, a 32-year-old Dutch traveller and adventurer, known as “Itchy Boots” has just done a great video riding from Malaga to Tangier Med. I did the same route last October and would of found it very useful actually seeing the ports customs etc and where to buy insurance and sim cards. https://youtu.be/pMvfS5mbsiI (hope it's okay to post the link ?)
