Moroocan tel. SIM card
If you need a Moroccan SIM card for your mobile, buy Maroc Telecom or Medi Tel and DO NOT buy INWI !!!
My experiance was bad with INWI, no sms service and so on... lost over 100 dirhams calling customer service and i get only promisses for "tomorow will be fixed" and like that for 6 days...
Today i bougt Maroc Telecom SIM card.
Cheers, Lana

Thanks for the advice
I've used both, Maroc Telecom (IAM-Jawal) and Meditel; and I'll keep on using Maroc Telecom 'cause it provides a much better coverage off road. Meditel is good enuough if you travel to populated places or not far from them.
In their websites there's a coverage map, so you can compare and choose the one you prefer, according to the pleaces your're going to go through.

Coverage does tend to vary. I've bought a Maroc Telecom 3g dongle on my last trips and found it worked fine in most places, except Bikershome to the west of Ouarzazate where it was as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Hi
Last week I bought a Maroc Telecom dongle, with one month unlimited internet, for 200Dh. Passport needed as ID from a Maroc Telecom shop.
Sometimes its really fast, sometimes fast but with frequent connection drops, sometimes so slow its not worth it. But we've only been in the Rif so far.
Tim, surely a chocolate anything has at least one use!

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
