One week trip around Marrakech
Hi all
I am flying to Marrakech with my GF next week, 11. Jan and we will stay in Morocco untill 21. Jan.
We are planning to rent two bikes from Loc2roues (on account of many good reviews on this site)
As she is a beginner on a dirt-bike we are looking for some tracks with beautyfull scenary and not too many other vehicles. Gravel tracks or a bit of sand would be perfect, but no tough enduro riding.
This is a practice for a longer trip this summer so challenges are welcome as long as my GF can handle it.
We have GPS equipment for both bikes and the Olaf Morocco maps. Unfortunately we dont have time to get the Chris Scott books as the shipping will take too long I am afraid.
Any ideas?

Hi Peter
Just before Chhristmas a friend and I rented from M2R, we had a pair of Honda 250 Tornados which were pretty good, the guy we rented from his called something like 'Shakira'?, who even came out in his mpv to find us when we got lost on the way to him.
This may be worth a read, whatever you do...enjoy!

Thanks for your reply.
I also contacted m2r and they seem to be cheaper than loc2roues. They quoted me 330 Euros for two 250 Tornadoes for one week. Or maybe that was the price for one?
Happy trails!

Hi Peter
It sounds expensive for one bike and cheap for 2!
From memory it cost about £50-£60 per day per bike and the 3rd day we extended the hire was £55 for the 2 bikes (but not a totally full day), and the extra £55 was paid in £'s as he preferred them. Unusual that someone actually wanted £'s (GPB) but then again, his brother lives in the UK, and he gave a better exchange rate.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
