...evening all.
I wasn't sure where this post should go. I guess someone will tell me if it should be somewhere else.
Lisa & I are arriving in Seattle next week and will be sharing our 'digital presentation' with Touratech USA at their head office.
Here's Touratechs blurb for the event:
Please join us for this exciting event - Friday September 7th at TOURATECH-USA. Door opens at 6PM (until 10PM). As always these shows turn into a great party, and Simon and Lisa will be no exception - they are fun people. We provide food and beverages - THIS IS A MOTORCYCLE PARTY!
Lisa and Simon will present a multi-media presentation with highlights and stories gathered during 4 1/2 years on the road. Starting in the U.K. in 2003 they have ridden their BMWs (R1100GS and F650GS) through 58 countries, across 4 continents and from the most Northerly point on Earth reachable by bike to the most Southerly.
Some of you may have read in the various forums and bike mag’s of the Adventure Rider that fell in the Amazon, repaired his bike and then battled another 3-weeks of jungle riding before reaching hospital and being diagnosed with a broken neck and receiving life saving surgery. This was ‘Simon’ and they talk in detail about the brutal reality of ‘Adventure Motorcycling’.
There exciting presentation of slides and video portrays there travels from deep inside the Arctic circle, to the fantastic city of Moscow, broiling in the heat of the Sahara, to the freezing tip of Ushuaia in Patagonia and then negotiating treacherous trails in the Amazon rain forest and riding towards (instead of away from) actively erupting volcanoes in Ecuador, just for the experience.
