Is "dinner time" noon or evening?

Do you know what the earliest time we can arrive on Friday is?

I'm not working on Friday and can set off anytime after 12 - will take about 2 hours to get to Hawes. If we can't "check-in" then we'll probably head into Hawes should anyone else want to meet up.

The weather forcast is looking good for the weekend with no frost.

Friday afternoon 3 of us went for a ride up to Tan Hill for a Brew.

on our way back we took in a few lanes.

On our return to Hardraw more folk had arrived so after a quick shower we headed for the Bar.others kept arriving as the night went on. we were all still drinkng when Ella arrived at 11.55pm after a hellish ride through the fog. Then Chris AKA Gadget from London turned up at 1.55am

Saturday morning started out very wet as Basil's group left. The rest of us seemed to eat our breakfast very slowly hoping the rain would stop.

we decided to set off on our ride out at 9.30 , it was still raining But two of the bikes were having a problem starting due to the Yorkshire Damp .By the time we got them running the sun had come out and they stayed with us for the rest of the weekend.

We worked our way through the Dales using a few lanes on route and arrived in the Village of Masham for a Late Lunch under clear Blue Sky. Thankfully we were all still in one piece and the bikes were not to scuffed up

Afrer a light lunch we left Masham heading for a few more trails which took us over to Burnsal where we stopped for a Brew and Chat before we headed back to Hardraw.
The road just outside Buckden was still part flooded after all the rain we had had on friday night.

Saturday Night in the Bar started early, the food, and crack were excellent.

The Landlord told Iain on sunday morning that we had almost drank the Pub dry

For those that had a early start on sunday morning had very frosty conditions to deal with.
Basil took out another group into the Hill's while most of use had a long breakfast and chat before departing around mid day.

Thank you to all who braved the weather on friday to get there, and for helping make this a great weekend.

Dazzer and Leigh

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
