The Moto-Festival of EMOK will be held in Bergama (Pergamoun) this year, between June 30-July 3, 2005.
This festival was being held in the valleys of Kutahya between 2002-2004.
Each year, there had been more and more interest and the attendies last time was about 1,200 people with 800 bikes.
That festival is open to any kind of bikers. The ones who are in love with bikes but have to drive other vehicles are also welcome.
This year, the meeting point is at Kozak Yaylasi - Bergama.
45 minutes to Ayvalik
212 km from Bandirma port (fast ferry to/from Istanbul)
135 km to Izmir
25 km to Bergama and Ancient Pergamoun ruins.
Kozak Yaylasi is full of Pinus-Pinea forests and the area has a reputation in pine-seed production .
The accomodation will be as camping but toilets and food stands will be available. Hotel accomodation is available in Bergama and Ayvalik.
All asphalt to main camping site but the area has lots of off-road tracks.
The villages on the surrounding mountains were located by Mehmet the Conquerer in
order to supply wood for the ships of Ottoman Navy during 15 th century.
The region is rich in terms of old city ruins and there are some good beaches nearby.
