In the recently released updated version (after 20 years of being out of print), one of the insider looks was at the first motorcyclists to ride (BSAs) from Alaska to the Lower 48 States of America in the late 1930's - when there was no road and to prove it could be done (eventually the Al-Can was built based upon their adventure). Ask not how one can see a relationship between sex and flogging a couple of single cylinder motorcycles for six months through Alaska and Canadian bush - Sigmund Freud saw a correlation for his mostly American audiences.



Part of the entertainment January 3, was hearing the varied responses given when asked if the adventuresome motorcyclists liked sex and motorcycles, and then were shown a copy of the best selling book.


Fun members of the Ulysses Club. Some wanted to add their opinions for the next edition, slated for 2035, if the publisher wishes to update the book again.
