Stella Alpina 2007
Hello everybody,
as every year also this year the Stella Alpina takes place on the "Colle de Sommeiller" near Bardoneccia (Italy) which is on the south port of the Mont Blanc tunnel. As usual it will be at the first weekend in July (means 6-8 July). There is nothing organised, people just come by and camp near a nice little lake on about 2500m. Everything you need you have to take with you!
If anybody wants to see some nice pictures, here you will find some. The report is in German only.

Anyway, if there are any guys travelling around there, it would be nice to meet them there.
Nice trip

I am hoping to go for the first time this year. Sounds like an event that has to be done at least once... Plenty of reports and pictures about on the web. Lovely area.
A slight correction to your post Burnout1, its officially the second Sunday of July. Sorry for being a stickler.
All the best,
Bal

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
