Garmin 620 - a 276c replacement or not?
Would appreciate any views on the one that is being touted as a 276 replacement... From reading I see that in automotive mode it is not able to save tracks and it seems to be a bit "dumbed down" in some ways. Anyone tried one?

You can download the manual and check it out. I never save tracks, I log them as .gpx files to SD card. When you save a track you loose a lot of detail and info, making them useless, e.g. for making maps. I like the big screen, which is the second biggest problem with my 60CSx (the small screen size).
The biggest question for me is: does it only work with NT maps? This would preclude using most free maps. Garmin's maps outside the developed world are pretty useless.
