GPS Waypoint software for PDAs
Hi,
I'm looking for some software that will allow me to record a pre-defined route using waypoints created from LAT/LONG co-ordinates with associated text notes (left next to bank etc). The routes will be off-road, so I won't need a database of road networks or a visual display of roads. All I'll need is confirmation of arrival at waypoint, along with the display of the text note.
Does anybody know if this is available on the market (preferably free or shareware).
Many thanks,
Mark.
Ps. 50 days to go...

Touratech has it.
Check the Touratech website under navigation, they have some good software dor PDA using both the Palm and Windows OS. A bit pricey but a friend of mine in Beijing is a bit of a GPS egghead and he says that its terrific.
Hope it works out for you.

Take a look at OziExplorerCE , the PDA version of the OziExplorer software. Not free- or shareware but not expensive.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
