Hmmm
Hi Tim,
I've had trouble connecting my Quest if I've had something else (a PocketPC or a camera) connected at the same time to another USB port. Try disconnecting other peripherals, rebooting and then connecting the Quest again. I don't know if it makes any difference whether you turn on the Quest before you connect the USB or after but you might want to try both.
Good luck!

If that does not work - try
Garmins USB drivers ...
I find reinstalling them solves the problem ..

I've downloaded a map from MapCenter and am trying to load it onto my Garmin Zumo. I read that the following should do it but my Garmin doesn't seem to 'see' the map I'm trying to load. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Steps I've taken are:
1) Download the file to my computer.
2) Change filename to gmapsupp.img
3) Copy file onto SD card.
4) Put SD card into Garmin.
5) Switch Garmin on.
6) Navigate to Settings / Maps / Map Info. (the loaded maps should be there - but they are not)
*** I STOP HERE BECAUSE I CAN'T GET ANY FURTHER ****
7) Select new map.
If I place the img file in the 'Garmin' folder using USB connection I think the map loads ok. What am I doing wrong with the SD card?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Ollie
