Ready Calibrated OziExplorer Maps

Have found a forum with Thai, Cambodia, Laos and more (Asian) maps.

http://www.taybacgroup.com.vn/Defaul...?g=topics&f=23

These are ready to load into Ozi - although you do have to sign up to the forum.

Anyone else found any more? Makes life easy.

Cheers

Buying maps

Other places I have bought maps for:

Thailand - $9 Oziexplorer gps maps Seems good enough for me.

Kazakstan - £12 BS-MapShop // digitale Karten. I have this map myself, and have previously tried scanning it in via my A4 scanner and calibrating it myself. I can tell you the 12 pounds is worth it.

I will be buying more from the 2nd company, including Central Asia and Iran (again I have these maps, but its worth it to get them scanned in).

I am currently looking for Malaysia and Pakistan if anyone can help.

Cheers

Found some more

Found a whole host of cailibrated ozi mates avaiable for free (download one by one) or to pay (bulk download). These maps are 1:50k all the way through to 1:1000k. Also these maps go from eastern europe all the way to oz.

These Russian maps have been available for some time, but only recently have the Ozi config files been made available.

Check them out here:

Digital topographic maps download - mapstor.com

or for the free ones here:

Let's go!

I've checked them against some other calibrated maps and they seem correct.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
