p.458 Morocco, Route M13. I'm told the waypoint for KM322 is wrong and I suspect it should be N27 04.0'
I've never actually done this route south of KM40 but I hear other southern wpts may be errant (or so a 6x6 101 bloke found before he broke down).
I think the Dak was cancelled due to Mauritania not Mk; on M13 it's just the usual WS restrictions.
Bounty paid for good photos if you're quick!

There may well be a road for part of the way from Smara now. I was there two years ago and there was a lot of construction work starting on a road from Smara heading into the desert, following the general direction of the track.
Here is a post I made at the time

I dont believe there were any Moroccan checkpoints on this piste at the time, although there is a military post at Hawza.
cheers

Hi,
No issues at all.
The tar only goes some 70 kms E of Smara, not yet reaching hawsa, but one can also take a northern piste that runs more or less paralel to the tar road. A southern piste also running paralel to the tar road was off limits to foreigners two weeks ago.
There's is certainly no security issues in this well known route.
