Anyone have a safe postal address in Morocco?
I have just been stung by an excellent pick-pocket, resulting in losing most of my credit cards. All canceled, so no major harm done, but I need to have replacements sent to me on the road.
Does anyone have a safe postal address in Morocco, preferably Rabat, Marrakesh or Ouzzarate I could use to have replacement cards sent to in the next week or so?
cheers

Bad Luck, Matt.
Hope you didn't lost more, like to much cash and even more important confidence and trust.
The one name which pops to mind, Peter of the Bikershome in Ouarzazate. Never meet in person, though we visit their place in the first season they opened (nobody there), but lots of possitive messages here on the hubb. At least he can maybe put you in contact with other people, nearer on your route.
Good Luck!

+1 for Bikershome (I'm staying there at the moment)
If Peter (+212 70 78 56 40) isn't there, his wife, Zineb (+212 67 45 83 67) should be.

Heading for Essaouira tonight, plan to ride slowly north up the coast to reach Casablanca Sunday night, then have the bike serviced at the BMW dealer Monday. Text me on my cellphone +44 7076 68399.
Cheers
Tim

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
